When your pet is sick or injured, we understand that you want them to be seen as soon as possible. Clermont Animal Hospital offers a limited number of same-day appointments for pets who need care for an illness or injury. Because these appointments are limited, they can fill quickly, so we encourage you to call us as early in the day as possible.

What to Know About Same-Day Visits

• Same-day appointments are limited. We reserve a small number of appointments each day for sick and injured pets. Availability is based on our schedule and the needs of our patients.
• Please call early. Same-day appointments often fill the first thing in the morning. Calling as soon as you know your pet needs care gives you the best chance of getting an appointment that day.
• An urgent care fee applies. Same-day appointments are subject to an urgent care fee.
• You may experience a longer wait. Same-day visits are worked into our regular appointment schedule. In some cases, we may be able to accommodate an urgent patient by fitting them into the schedule, which may result in a longer wait.
• Same-day visits are for illness or injury. These appointments are intended for pets who are sick or injured and need to be evaluated that day. Routine wellness care, vaccinations, and other preventive services should be scheduled in advance.

We know it can be stressful when your pet needs care and we don’t have an available appointment. If our same-day appointments are full, we’ll do our best to help you determine the most appropriate next step. Depending on your pet’s needs, we may recommend an urgent care facility that can provide same-day care.
