I love coming to Clermont Animal Hospital. I worry too much about my cat’s health but they are patient and I trust their expertise. I appreciate they answer any small or big question. Pets are family! We love our fur babies! I would take your loved pet here.
Dr Julia and her team did a FHO (Femoral Head Ostectomy,) on my 1 year old marmoset monkey Nala. She had started limping and holding her leg up, so I took her to see Dr Julia after a several times of looking into what was going on. She determined she needed surgery. She was jumping and rammed her hip into her pelvic bone and cut the blood flow off to her hip and the bone started to die. Dr Julia and her team was great with ensuring me that doing the surgery was the best thing for her and she would be out of pain immediately of doing the surgery. They answered my hundred questions there and when I took her home. It has been two weeks and she is doing great. Every time we go to this vet it has been a great experience.
I've been taking my 21 year old toy poodle, Rizzo, here for a few years now and they are so good with her. Dr. Esposito is a brilliant vet - she finds things other vets have missed and explains things thoroughly. I attribute Rizzo's longevity to her sharp diagnostic skills and solid recommendations. The Vet Techs here are wonderful and are always excited to see my little girl which is so sweet!!
I cannot say enough about this vet! I visited so many other vets with my pets and always left feeling like the vet had sold their souls to other companies, decided I was too young to be worthy of their time, or were only willing to do things one way. Not here! They are so thorough and very willing to answer any questions. It is clear that they want you to understand what is going on rather than just sending you out with a prescription. Prices are also very fair!
At first, I was hesitant—but that hesitation quickly disappeared. This veterinary practice is absolutely amazing. Dr. Julia is an exceptionally knowledgeable veterinarian, and her care has been nothing short of a miracle for us. She immediately calmed my fears, and from that moment on, she earned my highest respect and trust. We have been here multiple times, and every single visit we are met with the most caring attitudes, patience, and genuine respect toward Aloura and toward us as her owners. They consistently go above and beyond, especially in their understanding and dedication as veterinarians experienced with primates. We are forever thankful for the love, support, compassion, and energy they pour into everything they do. Truly an outstanding team. Aloura has been diagnosed with " Hornors Syndrome, and now her iris is attached to her front lens without this veterinarian office ad staff aloura wouldn't of had an amazing doctor who continued to search for an eye specialist, were truly blessed. Thank you all Merry Christmas. UPDATE I had a follow-up appointment recently and was very relieved with how everything went. The concern with my pet’s eye turned out to be cosmetic only, and I was reassured there is no risk of losing the eye. The veterinary team was thorough and explained everything clearly, including testing and what they were looking for. They took the time to answer questions and made sure I understood the results and next steps. We also had routine care done, including nail trims and follow-up evaluation, and everything was handled gently and professionally. I appreciated how calm and patient they were with my pet throughout the visit. Overall, I left feeling confident in the care provided and thankful for the clear communication and attention to detail.
I can’t say enough good things about this practice. They are always busy but somehow manage to operate with great efficiency, it always amazes me! They took wonderful care of my 5 year old kitty during his dental cleaning.
If I could give more stars I would. Both vets at this office have gone above and beyond to help my pets. I had an issue with my puppy who was at the vet to get neutered. Surgery went very well but after some bad things started. He would not clot and they tried everything in their power to get it to stop. They tried sutures, pressure, and other things as well. He just would not clot and was bleeding pretty bad after surgery. They finally got it to slow down enough to go home. The plan was to use meds at home along with wearing a medical onsie We had multiple times I came back for bleeding or other issues. Each time compassion was shown and each vet took ample time into my dogs care. Ultimately he was bleeding pretty bad and we needed something different. So they gave him some high dose vitamin K that had to be brought into clinic because they didn’t have it. When trying to find the special vitamin k we kept getting shot down with the dose. They finally found it and for not a bunch of money which is what we started. He was on that a few days so far and the bleeding has stopped. I hope my review can help someone know they and your pet will be in great hands if you choose this hospital.
Update: so my dog Cholo a mastiff started having seizures. I brought him in post one of the seizures and after I got him loaded in my car I started driving and he had another seizure. I got to the vet and went inside very fast and told them what was happening and they grabbed the gurney and came to get him. Once inside he started coming out of the seizure and was very loopy and not sure what happened. The vet gave me some meds and what to do to help him and we were allowed to go home. Unfortunately at home over the next two days he declined to the point where putting him down humanely was the only option. They allowed me as much time with him as possible. I stayed almost to closing and not once was I rushed or pressured to leave my baby. Cholo was 14 which is very old for a dog his size. Then a month and half later my baby boy buddy who was a beagle lab and was 17 years old. Him and my other dog cholo were together their whole lives. Buddy I think hung on as long as he could to make sure I was ok and then he went to the rainbow bridge. Each time the vets were amazing with how they handled everything and my new dog Cujo and my cat Leroy both get their care here and always will.
We have been using Clermont Animal Hospital as our primary veterinarian for all of our rescue animals.
We have always been able to trust them to get us in same day for emergency appts, they respond to all of our crazy questions and concerns, even at the oddest of hours. We have nothing but great things to say about Clermont! Dr Espasito, Dr Bolin, and the amazing girls who work along side them have given us such a positive experience!
They took in an injured adult male red finch when I found him down in my yard, unable to fly or even stand steady. They were kind enough to call after the vet looked at the bird and share their thoughts on the injury/recovery chances with me. They then called again later that night to share that the bird had passed on his own. I appreciated the compassion they had and for keeping me updated on the little guy.
The girls are super professional ,informative , very patient with my 163 pd German shepherd you isn't Mr social. They handled him safely and confident. Sarge and myself are happy customers 😊
Amazing vet. I feel like I am with a people doctor for my Dog. They have seen my now 110# Anatolian Pyrenees since she was 12 weeks. I highly recommend
I take my rats here and recently my female rat needed a mass removal. They made it clear and didn’t hide to me that anesthesia can be hard for a rat and that they would do their best to get rid of the mass on her chest. Not only did they get the one they planned to get but the second one on her side as well! I was very stressed as well as female rats can be more sensitive than their male counterparts but she is up and moving today and is begging for more treats already. I always appreciate how they explain everything to us and always give us what we need with an affordable price. If you have pet rats I’d highly recommend taking them here. If my cat ever needs services I’ll take him here before even considering taking him elsewhere.
One of the best animal hospitals in Ohio. The veterinarians and staff at Clermont Animal Hospital truly care about all animals. They are incredibly professional, kind, and caring towards their patients. Dr. Esposito is a wonderful veterinarian who has been so amazing to my mice and I. She has saved my mice many times and is so sweet with them. The staff is very knowledgeable and kind to exotic animals as well. You can tell they put their hearts and souls into what they do. They are also cheaper than most animal hospitals. Thank you to everyone at Clermont Animal Hospital for what you do!
