Katherine F. Bachman, D.V.M
Bachman began at Clermont Animal Hospital as a volunteer when she was
fifteen years old, acquiring a job as a veterinary assistant shortly
after turning 16. With the goal of becoming a veterinarian in mind,
she obtained a full ride to Northern Kentucky University and
graduated in 2013 with a Bachelor’s of Science. While in veterinary
school at The Ohio State University, she realized her passion for
exotic animals and underwent training at zoological institutions such
as The Wilds and St. Louis Zoo. She graduated with her Doctorate of
Veterinary Medicine in 2017 before moving to Florida, where she
completed a rotating internship at Coral Springs Animal Hospital with
rigorous training in emergency and critical care medicine, surgery,
internal medicine, cardiology, oncology, and rehabilitation. She is
excited to be back home here at Clermont Animal Hospital as a
veterinarian after all of this time.
On her days off, she likes to attend local festivals, play with her two pups, and spend time with her family and friends. This past year, she became an aunt and takes great joy in spending time with her nephew.
She loves the work that she does and would love to meet both you and your furry, feathered, or scaled family member.
